How to integrate the CCTVDynamics DVR series with a POS system

Here is a typical connection diagram,

Please connect the POS with PC through the COM port

Software Setup Menu

Click on the POS button Click on the Add button to add a POS system connection

Please choose the COM port that connects to the POS system through the RS232 cable.

Please choose the mapping channel of the POS camera.

Click on Setup to set the POS system transmit speed.

If you don’t know the setting please choose Restore Defaults Note: About the speed please refer to your POS system manual.

FAQ:

1. If the POS system only supports data transmission to only 1 port and the POS is already connected to a printer, please purchase a COM port distributor (splitter) 1 to 2 connector to distribute the data output to 2 connections.
